Panasonic Abducted by Aliens

Panasonic SD card camcorders are given a plug by a cattle farmer recovering from alien abduction, in a television commercial developed in Australia. The TV ad is part of Panasonic’s promotion of built-in genius, linked with coverage of the Beijing Olympic Games. The video camera is presented as being ‘so small, they fit into your life’.

The farmer, played by Gary Baxter, gives us the lowdown on his alien abduction. “Last night I was abducted by aliens. They beamed me up onboard their space craft and conducted all sorts of weird experiments on me before returning me home. Then they took two of my cows and flew away. You wanna see the video?”
