Open Your Eyes to Saturated Fat
World Heart Foundation is calling on consumers to be more aware of the levels of saturated fats in common foods such as butter, cheese, croissants and steak. World Heart Day, being held on 28 September 2008, is designed to raise awareness of personal risk for cardiovascular disease. A series of photographs adds new meaning to the phrase “still life”. Butter in silver paper is shown with razor blades, cheese in a human-size mouse trap, steak on a barbecue/bear trap, and croissants with snakes. The website, badfats.eu, is not operational.
