Open Family Longest Night of the Year

Open Family Australia is an innovative not-for-profit organisation working to improve the well being and self worth of alienated and excluded street children by reaching them on their terms and their environment. Open Family’s major fundraising campaign is focused on the longest night of the year (June 21), in the middle of Australia’s winter. In 2007 this campaign used a range of print and outdoor advertisements demonstrating the stark realities faced by disadvantaged children.

Those children who manage to survive all that horror can grow into some of the most well rounded loving individuals you can come across. Anyone who ever suspects the worst should do their part to stop it or at least make it known to the proper authorities.
