American indie band Of Montreal has released a music video for their single, ID Engager, from the album Skeletal Lamping. A drawing board come to life with colorful creatures, aliens, and personified household objects.

Id Engager builds on Freud’s writing on the Id, the immediate desires and pleasures of each person, expressed unconsciously. The music video uses the popular pastime of shared drawing -- a piece of papers is folded into three sections, one for the head, one for the torso and one for the legs.

Filming/animation was shot by directors Mark Reisbig and Hanne Berkaak (animator) via SSSR/Passion Pictures with 2D animators Robin Bushell and Julia Pott, and stop frame animator Matt Cooper.
