Nycomed Breakthrough Pain

Nycomed, a privately owned global pharmaceutical company based in Zurich, Switzerland, presents its new intranasal analgesic delivery system designed to match breakthrough cancer pain. Four print advertisements, no doubt aimed at health professionals, demonstrate the impact of back pain on cancer sufferers, using thorns and buzz saws affecting the shoulders and spine. The campaign won gold at the Epica Awards 2008.

The Nycomed Breakthrough campaign was developed at Italian agency Sentrix Global Health Communication by creative director/copywriter Clayton Love, creative director/art director Silvana Vescovi, art directors Marco Adelfio, Nathalie Garcia, with photography and retouching provided by Restyle, Milan.
