No Milk Today in Norway

Tine Norske Meirier, a milk company in Norway, is promoting Tine Melk with “No Milk Today”, a series of viral commercials using video bloopers. The first commercial has just won a Gold at the Epica Awards. See the campaign online at nomilktoday.no.

In order to show how milk strengthens the body, Norwegian agency Try worked with director Ole Endresen to collect a set of well known sport bloopers, YouTube clips and other clips showing people “losing grip”. They then synched each mistake to the line “no milk today” from the classic Heman Hermits hit.

The “No Milk Today” campaign was developed at Try Reklamebyrå, Oslo, by art director Einar Fjøsne, copywriters Kjetil Try and Jørgen Bøhle Bakke.

Filming was shot by director Ole Endresen via Monster Commercials, with editor Christian Siebnherz, online producer Haavard Albertsen at Hocus Focus. Sound by was by Stig Holte and Lydhodene.

The spot won a Gold at the Epica Awards 2008 for Dairy Products.
