BMW is promoting the Mini Cooper in the United States with a television commercial highlighting the car’s maneuverability in a face off with rogue shopping carts.
“Demon Carts” shows the evil shopping carts roving through a parking lot among the cars that they have destroyed. Enter the the Mini Cooper. The slick maneuvering of the Mini Cooper is just too much for the bullying shopping trolleys.

The Demon Carts ad was developed at Butler, Shine Stern & Partners, San Francisco, by executive creative director John Butler, associate creative director Steve Mapp, executive producer Adrienne Cummins and senior producer Kat Fris.
Filming was shot by director Geordie Stephens via Tool of North America with director of photography Richard Henkels, executive producers Jennifer Siegel and Brian Latt, producer Joby Ochsner, production supervisor Brendan Kling, production coordinator Brian Armstrong, 1st art director Mike Curtis, and 2nd art director Joe Gray.
Post production and visual effects were developed at Asylum by VFX supervisor/lead compositor Sean Devereaux, Inferno artist James Allen, executive producer Michael Pardee, producer Darcie Muangman, bidding producer Michael Hanley, coordinator Jennie Burnett.
