Meerkats in New Home of Football

Slovenian copywriter Tine Lugaric and designer Matija Kocbek won the Golden Bra in 2007 for Best Newcomer with this print advertisement for worldcup2010southafrica.com. The award winning entry at the Magdalena International Festival of Creative Communication shows a group of meerkats posing nervously for the camera, like a football team waiting for a penalty kick. A red tongue adds to the effect.

worldcup2010southafrica.com, the new home of football, is an unofficial site anticipating interest in the FIFA World Cup being held in South Africa in 2010, registered by Damien Dugdale.
