Luxor highlights Guevara Hitler and Chaplin
Luxor Writing Instruments Pvt. Ltd. in India has used historical figures to illustrate the effectiveness of its highlighting pens. Che Guevara, Adolf Hitler and Charlie Chaplin appear behind the print on newspapers, highlighted in green, red and blue. Click on the images to view a higher quality version and read the stories behind the portraits. If you haven’t got time to read the whole script, just focus on the highlighted words.
The Luxor newspaper campaign was developed at Leo Burnett India, Mumbai, by creative director/art director Santosh Padhi, creative director K.V. Sridhar, copywriter Russell Barrett, account managers Ravpreet Ganesh and Mona Mehra, and artist Kunal Mhabadi.
The campaign won silver awards at the International ANDY Awards in 2007 for graphic design and and personal products.
