Lotto Classic Car Restoration

NZ Lotteries Commission took the “What Would You Do?” promotion into popular usage in New Zealand with “Classic Car”, a TV ad featuring a father and son with different perspectives on car restoration. Years of careful work on a Jaguar come to an expected end when the son wins the Lotto.

Credits

Classic Car was developed at DDB New Zealand, by creative director Toby Talbot, art director Reagan Grafton, copywriter Bridget Short, agency producer Vicky Rhedy.

Filming in Te Atatu North, Auckland, was shot by director Adam Stevens via Robber’s Dog with producer Mark Foster.

The ad was named Best Ad (by public vote) at the Fair Go Ad Awards in September 2007 and was short listed at Cannes 2008.
