Impulse True Love Still Exists

Impulse True Love, a perfumed deodorant developed by Ann Gottlieb for women, is being promoted in a humorous TV ad highlighting the romantic power of the spray.

Girl's hand goes to car window in Impulse True Love commercial

A young man drives his girlfriend home in his car, stopping and getting out to open her door for her. Between getting out and reaching her door, however, she’s applied Impulse True Love. Helicopters and wheeled vehicles carrying intervention units arrive on the scene carrying young single men who desperately want him to resist opening the door. “Go home to your friends, brother!” Are they concerned that they’ll lose a friend? Or is there an element of competition? Whatever the case, the young man is between a rock and a hard place.

As the ad ends, we hear the song the young woman longs to hear, “I just need your love”.
