Venus Embrace is being promoted in three TV commercials with the line, “All women love beautifully smooth legs”. A nun, a bearded lady and a tattoo each show the need shaving their legs.

Two more ads are in the pipeline using the same tag line. A woman in trailer at the carnival prepares her legs for a visit from the tall man. A hairy man asleep in the bath wakes up to discover that the woman in his tattoo has been busy (See the Singing Serpent reel)

The Venus ads were developed at BBDO New York, by chief creative officers David Lubars and Bill Bruce, executive creative director Jack Neary, senior creative director/art director Gro Frivoll, copywriter Susan Golkin, executive producer John Lacey, assistant producer Roger Jones, director of music radio production Rani Vaz.

Filming was shot by director Tom Rouston via Tool of North America, with director of photography Bill Pope, line producer Caroline Pham, production designer Tom Wilkins, executive producers Jennifer Siegel and Brian Latt.

The Nun spot was edited at Crew Cuts by Sherri Margulies with producer Michelle Bellaff. Post production was done at Nice Shoes, New York.
