Slurpee, the frozen carbonated drink, is being promoted in Australia with a print campaign using the tagline, “Fruit Got Juiced For Your Slurpee”. Policeman in riot gear faces tennis practice machine loaded with apples. A baseball bowler fires apples into a jet engine. A ninja drops a fridge onto a selection of apples.
The Slurpee campaign was developed at Leo Burnett Melbourne, by creative director Jason Williams, copywriter Brendan Greaney, art directors Richard Walker and David Ponce de Leon, agency producer Gary Arnas, with photographer Garry Moore represented by Miss Bossy Boots.
Slurpee marketing staff were Lalena King, Rebecca Mountstephen.
