To an adult, regaining their confidence maths-wise can help, but there can be a big stumbling block, the adult would actually have to admit that they have got a problem. The average adult with a maths problem will quite probably say that they don't have a problem with their maths even in situations where they are clearly struggling. These adults would see maths courses as going back to school, and the very thought of that would embarrass them and be the thing that stops them from admitting they have a problem. This is an ad, but it will possibly take more than a big-budget ad campaign to inspire adults.
