It’s time to get out and vote for the best emerging creative talent in the UK in Creative30, an online contest in the UK. Vice, Yahoo! and British newspaper The Independent have teamed up to find the top 30 emerging creatives from the U.K in a new campaign for Volvo. It’s all online at today’s site of the day, www.creative30.net.
The website for the initiative features thumbnails of all 30 candidates along with accompanying videos in which they appear and promote their work. The videos are also online at the Creative30 YouTube channel. Ranging from tattoo artists to journalists to designers, the “Creative 30″ were handpicked by judges such as fashion icon Vivienne Westwood and James Righton from U.K. dance-rock band The Klaxons.
The winner, who will be determined by fan votes, drives away with a newly redesigned Volvo C30 while the runner-up walks away with £10,000.
Voting commenced on October 20th and runs until November 16th.
