Coca Cola Shooting Stars for Christmas

Coca Cola in Mexico continues the traditional Christmas connection with the man in the red suit with a shooting star, sent up in the skies by Santa Claus. The star, accompanied by the song, “Can’t help falling in love with you”, inspires love everywhere it is seen.

The SHooting Stars campaign was developed at Ogilvy Argentina, Buenos Aires.

Filming was shot by director Pucho Mentasti via Blue Films.

“Can’t Help Falling in Love” was a pop song based on “Plaisir d’amour” by Jean Paul Egide Martini, rewritten for the 1961 film Blue Hawaii, starring Elvis Presley, produced at Swing Musica.
