Child in the Rear Vision Mirror
Vereniging Verkeersslachtoffers, the Dutch Road Accident Victims Association, has a campaign warning against allowing children to be unrestrained passengers. Every month a child dies through not wearing a seatbelt in the back. In the rear vision mirror we see a child clothed in white, ready for burial.
The Rear Vision Mirror campaign was developed at Ogilvy, Amsterdam, by copywriter Edsard Schutte, art director Jan-Willem Smits, photographer Arno Bosma, with advice from Prof. J.L. de Kroes.
