Cadbury Gorilla and Truck Remixed Online
Cadbury has released remixes of the Fallon-created viral advertisements, Gorilla and Trucks, in a 3 minute advertising slot during the final of Big Brother. The two 90 second ads, shown on Channel 4, are hosted online at Glass and a Half Full Productions, in the Studio (Gorilla) and the Hangar (Trucks).

The Cadbury marketing team tell us they had such a great response to their drumming gorilla and airport truck campaigns, particularly the tribute video responses posted online, that they decided to launch them into advertising history.

Cadbury Gorilla Remixed
Bonnie Tyler’s track, Total Eclipse of the Heart, is used as the remix of the Gorilla commercial, originally set to Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight. See my original post from this time last year, which includes another two remixes, Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, Lithium by Nirvana. The Cadbury remix, developed by Fallon London, includes the sound of the gorilla’s heavy breathing, not present on the unofficial Youtube video.

Airport Trucks Remixed
The Airport Trucks commercial, originally set to Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now, is remixed here to Bon Jovi’s Living on a Prayer. See my post from April 2008 on the launch of the Trucks campaign.
