BBC Headroom for Mental Health
It’s Mental Health Week this week, October 5 - 12, with Mental Health Day promoted worldwide on October 10. Today’s Site of the Day, BBC’s Head Room, provides a number of video and interactive resources for people exploring issues of mental health.

The BBC Headroom site includes Ruby’s Room, a series of interviews conducted by comedienne Ruby Wax (known for her struggles with depression), actor Griff Rhys Jones talking about anger, Simple Pleasures highlighting the ways British celebrities build their emotional wellbeing, and Video Nation, a series of short films dealing with mental health issues. Unfortunately most if not all of the videos are only available to be viewed by people sitting in front of computers in the UK. In some cases we’re provided with transcripts.
Mind Spa gives viewers, anywhere in the world fortunately, an opportunity to test themselves on their mental wellbeing. Wellbeing Guides provide a range of information resources on depression and anxiety, drink and addictions, food and fitness, social life, self esteem and other conditions for mental health.
What other sites have you seen that provide an interactive experience for people exploring mental health?
