Barack Obama Testimonials

Most of Barack Obama’s campaign advertisements consist of edited excerpts from his oratory speeches. The exceptions to the rule are a few testimonials in which people talk about their hopes for a United States under Obama. In this testimonial Willie from Florida talks about his hopes for the future. He likes the idea of ‘winning the peace’ rather than ‘winning the war’ in Iraq. He’s hoping that Barack will help realise the dreams of an integrated nation looked for by an earlier generation of civil rights activists.

Blogger Wheelbarrow at One Million Strong suggests that Obama has failed to gain the support of older women in the Democrat camp because he has failed to use women in his advertising. Many of Obama’s YouTube videos are ten minutes and longer. There are very few professionally made clips in which Obama speaks directly to the viewer, one to one so to speak.
