Auto Trader in Canada is promoting the addition of new cars to its online service with a series of TV advertisements connecting the new deal with the kind of dating practices people wish they could use, but never could. The tagline, “Come meet your match”.

Using the New Car Wizard on, shoppers can compare vehicles by model, price range, seating capacity, horsepower and fuel consumption. They can also view high resolution photographs and check the inventory at their local car dealership, all from the comfort of their computer.

“Canadians consumers told us they want one online source to access consolidated information about both new and used vehicles,” said Paul Gallucci, Vice President, Online Services, Trader Corporation. “Buyers often have a budget in mind when shopping for a vehicle, but they don’t know whether they’ll spend it on a used or new one. These new products will show consumers all their choices, both new and used.”
