Arno in Brazil had some award winning fun with USA presidents in a print advertising campaign featuring blenders, George W Bush and Bill Clinton. The claim, “Arno Blender Mixes Everything Perfectly”, is applied to the development of the most recent leaders of the United States. George W Bush is produced as a blend of his father George H W Bush and Mad Magazine mascot Alfred E. Neuman. Bill Clinton is introduced as a blend of George Washington and Hugh Grant (posing for police cameras after being caught with a prostitute).
The Presidents campaign was developed at Publicis Brasil, Sao Paulo, by executive creative director/copywriter Rodolfo Sampaio, creative director/art director Guilherme Jahara, copywriter Adriano Matos, account supervisor Paul Costa, advertiser’s supervisors Mara Lacerda and Eliana Leonhardt, photographer Guto Nóbrega and producers Mario Machado and Marcos Tsuda.
The print advertisements won a gold Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival in June 2007.
