Apple Get A Mac Time Machine
Apple introduces the Mac OS back up feature, Time Machine, in the Get A Mac TV ad series featuring John Hodgman (PC) and Justin Long (Mac). PC discovers he’s talking to ten copies of Mac, one or two even sporting facial hair. The Macs explain that every hour the Leopard OS feature makes a back up. If Mac accidentally deletes a file, he can find it. “Pretty awesome”, says PC.
The Apple Time Machine ad was developed at TBWA\Media Arts Lab by chief creative officer Lee Clow, executive creative directors Duncan Milner, Eric Grunbaum, creative director Jason Sperling, associate creative director/art director Chuck Monn, copywriter Alicia Dotter, producers Hank Zakroff and Perrin Rausch.
Filming was shot by director Phil Morrison via Epoch Films with director of photography Mott Hupfel.
