Microsoft is promoting three XBox 360 games in a TV ad using green claymation. A modeler stands in front of the camera, moulding first a spider and web for Spiderman 3, a skull and crossbones for Pirates of the Caribbean At World’s End, and finally Shrek the Third himself. The green clay is used to shape an XBox 360 console, before being transformed into packaging for the three games.

The XBox Clay ad was developed at McCann, San Francisco, by executive creative directors John McNeil and Rob Bagot, creative directors Scott Duchon and Geoff Edwards, copywriter Mark Krajan, art director Tim Stier and agency producer Annie Uzdavinis.
Filming and animation was directed by Shaun Sewter at Moo Studios, Los Angeles, with lead compositor Jared Sandrew, executive producer David Lyons, producer Rebecca Donaghe. Moo Studios provide a behind-the-scenes video in quicktime, along with the completed 60 second Clay ad in quicktime.
