The Wary Christmas spot was developed at BWM Sydney by executive creative director Rob Belgiovane, group creative director/art director Jake Rusznyak, group creative director/copywriter Dean Hamilton, agency executive producer Abby Hunt and executive producer Alex Mooney.

Filming was shot by The MacRae Brothers at Orange Whip Films, Sydney, winners of the $1 million prize in Project Greenlight Australia 2006.

Editor was Danny Tait at The Tait Gallery, Sydney. Telecine was done at Bean Colour, Sydney. Audio post production was done at Sound Reservoir, Sydney.

The idea for the spot evolved when Jake Rusznyak and Dean Hamilton sat down with The MacRae Brothers to swap horror stories. They pitched the idea to BestAdsOnTV.com, who loved it. “Who knows, this could become the start of an end of year tradition for BestAds…” says writer Dean Hamilton.
