Volkswagen promoted the Golf R 32 in 2006 with ‘Shortcut’, a magazine advertising campaign with digitally enhanced vehicles experiencing speed, each with the tagline, “Overtake Faster – The Golf R32 with 250 horsepower”.

The Short Cuts campaign was developed at DDB Dusseldorf by creative directors Raphael Milczarek, Heiko Freyland and Eric Schoeffler, copywriters Heiko Freyland and Felix Lemcke, art directors Raphael Milczarek and Fabian Kirner. Account supervisors were Benjamin Reininger and Louisa Ibing.
