Trains come out of nowhere

Public Transport Authority in Western Australia commissioned RARE CreativeThinking to make a lenticular poster demonstrating the speed at which electric trains can appear. The two images, one with an empty station, the other with a train emerging from nowhere, are covered with laminated lens. The images are revealed as the viewing angle changes.

The poster was designed at RARE creativethinking, Perth, by art director Brett Wheeler and copywriter Ryan Albuino. The poster won best of show at the PADC Awards (Perth Advertising & Design Club) in 2007.
