The Sunpilots Debut Spotlight in the Sun
The Sunpilots, a new alternative rock band from Sydney, Australia, has released the music video for their single “Spotlight in the Sun”. Raj Siva-Rajah (vocals), Bob Spencer (guitar) and Anthony Soole (percussion) shot the music video over 2 days in Sydney in a deserted warehouse and the infamous “Vanguard” theatre. The video also features cameo appearances from independent Australian actors such as Johnny Boxer (the chef from the cult TV show “Fat Pizza”).
Set to the soundtrack of a brand new version of “Spotlight in the Sun” which was produced by legendary Aussie producer Phil McKellar (Silverchair, Grinspoon, Kisschasy), the video marks the release of The Sunpilots’ first serious single in the lead up to a debut album later this year.
