The Hives Tick Tick Boom For Nike Finish Line

The Hives perform their new single, “Tick Tick, Boom”, in a TV ad for the Nike Plus package online at FinishLine.com. In the middle of a Hives concert a woman in white walks onto the stage to announce, “Fifteen minutes, four seconds completed”. The spot moves to an athletics gear store in which a salesman explains, “It gives you time, distance, pace and calories burned. It’s a whole new way to run.”

“How does it know that?”, asks the guy interacting with the workout on his iPod. The voiceover invites viewers to experience Nike Plus with the Nike Shox Remix at www.finishline.com

The Nike Finish Line Concert campaign was developed by Crispin Porter + Bogusky by chief creative officer Alex Bogusky, creative directors Evan Fry and Dave Schiff, interactive creative director Jeff Benjamin, associate creative director Alex Burnard, art directors Kate McQuail and Matt Ranauro, copywriter Edu Pou, director of integrated production David Rolfe, executive integrated producer Matt Bonin, integrated music producer Bill Meadows and integrated senior producer (broadcast) Anthony Nelson.

Filming was directed by Swedish film production collective ACNE, via RSA Films, with executive producer Fran McGivern, line producer Paige Seidel and director of photography Marcelo Durst.

Editing was done at Rock Paper Scissors by Chan Hatcher with executive producer Crissy DeSimone.

Post production was done at RIOT LA by VFX artist Andy Davis and colorist Siggy Ferstil. Sound was mixed by Zac Fisher at POP Sound, Santa Monica.
