Suncorp Celebrates The Ordinary

Suncorp has launched a major drive designed to reinforce its role in the Queensland financial services sector. The new campaign tracks two ordinary characters and their humorous attempts to manage everyday life. Three TV ads show the two men pulling stunts at a real open home, in a real suit shop and in an actual human-form drawing art class. track the pair’s journey through home lending and everyday banking scenarios.

The campaign also encompasses retail executions, outdoor, online, Suncorp branded coffee caddies at auction sites and open homes, mobile billboards at display villages and ambient advertising at shopping centres around Queensland.


The Ordinary campaign was developed at George Patterson Y&R by creative director Tim Green, copywriter Andrew Thompson, account manager Michael Harris, TV producer Tamyson Power, with Suncorp marketing manager Catherine McGrath.

Filming was shot by director Ryan Renshaw via Black Lab, with producer Noelle Stevens and director of photography Tim McGahan.
