The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation promoted the annual CIBC Run for the Cure (held throughout Canada on September 30) with a series of print advertisements showing the connection between those who were running in person and those who were running in spirit. “Some women run it every year”.

The campaign was developed at Cundari Group, Toronto, by creative director Fred Roberts, art director Mike Dietrich, copywriter Tim Das, photographer Chris Gordaneer and media director Anne Wood.

Women are strong and they will fight for what they think is right even if they know it will beat them just for the chance that it may bring the world one step closer to a cure. My thanks to those women who have undergone new or experimental treatments so that we may disover what works and what doesn’t. We are closer everday and we should never give up.
