Smoking Ruins Lives In Portugal

Advertising agency DDB Portugal have sponsored a series of DDB alerts, posters warning about the effects of smoking on length of life and enjoyment of life. The phrase used in each poster translated into English: “It’s not just the life you lose, but what you lose in life”. The images, a water melon, rose, baby’s dummy, and a copy of the Kama Sutra, each show signs of being destroyed by smoke. Tobacco is the third cause death in Portugal. It’s a contagious habit. Ask the children of smoker parents. Tobacco is the third cause death in Portugal. On top of that it reduces the scent in 27%. Tobacco is the third cause death in Portugal. As misfortunes never come singly, it reduces physical and sexual fitness in 38%. Tobacco is the third cause death in Portugal. As if that wasn’t enough, it reduces taste in 30%.
