Regina Spektor Better

Regina Spektor released the music video for ‘Better’ in November 2006. The single, Better, is from the album, Begin To Hope. Regina sings in front of a television screen, her image repeated in video feedback.

The first music video released was a low budget film, put together in twenty minutes in Regina’s office. According to Regina’s MySpace blog, filming was shot in 20 minutes in Adria’s office, and was totally free to make. “All was done in real time and then a couple of takes were edited together. No hair or makeup person, and no one to stop me from being a full on dork… Just how i like it.”

The second music video was a more complex affair, this time taking the concept of duplication to higher levels of sophistication, in an outdoor environment.
