Kings and Queens Introducing 21st Century Royalty
Torres Kings & Queens, manufacturer of shower gels in Athens, has launched an advertising campaign linking their products with feeling of being 21st royalty in an urban culture. King Solomon and Queen of Sheba hang out together in a trailer park. A reference of the Biblical account of the African queen’s visit to Israelite King Solomon. Queen Nefertiti caters for a customer’s honey fetish. A reference to the wife of Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. The Chinese Princess tests a jasmine solution in the laboratory, a reference to a legend in which a Chinese princess planted only jasmine in her garden to remind her lover of his vows. Cyberpunk Caspar interacts with the world online, a reference to the visit of the Magi.

The Kings and Queens 21st Century Royalty campaign was developed at Lowe, Athens, by creative director Yanna Polydouri, copywriter Rena Chrisoulaki, art director Ann Georgiadou, production director Maria Fytrou, account team Evita Kalogiorga and Alexandra Panagiotatou.
Filming was shot by Dennis Iliadis via Boo Productions, Athens, with producer Aris Dagios. Music was provided by Coti K (Coti K at MySpace). Post production was done at Imagina. Styling was done by Stavros Papagiannis. Graphics were prepared by Giannis Kouroudis.
