So far Kevin’s written up his reflections on the passing of Italian Saatchi & Saatchi CEO Paolo Ettore, a living giant doll in Japan, the Crystal Bridges museum in Bentonville Arksansas, long lasting songs, the Starbucks Coffee Break, Manchester United, the Heart Chamber Orchestra, the JC Penney campaign, Six Nations Rugby, Incandescent light bulbs, and Rpbert Earl Keen.

Kevin believes that we are living in the Attraction Economy and that in this world you have to create entertaining, engaging and focused connections, or everyone walks away. He says that in his business consumers are in control. Selling by yelling is a waste of space. It is also the world of blogs. Over the next year Kevin undertakes to post on the stuff that amazes and delights, inspires and intrigues him. He hopes it does the same for us.

So far he’s doing OK. Telling his own personal story, celebrating significant heroes and best practice stories. This is not your typical rant blog. It’s more like a quite rave blog.

I am a big fan of Kevin and have been reading his words for years. I think it is fair to say, “So far he’s doing OK.” I think it may take Kevin some time to get his rhythm in blogging. I especially hope and love to see Kevin respond to some of the comments and making the blog a two way street. Will see how it goes but I do have high hopes.

    Cheers,
    Kempton
