Internazionali BNL d’Italia (Italian International Tennis Championship), held in May 6-21, 2006, was promoted in a series of print advertisements featuring top seeded tennis players (French) Amélie Mauresmo, (Russian) Maria Sharapova, (Spanish) Rafael Nadal and (Swiss) Roger Federer. Not shown here is the 2006 female champion, Martina Hingis. Nadal took the championship in 2006 for the second year in a row, a feat he was to repeat in 2007.
