Hungry Jacks, Burger King in Australia, has launched a hand signal to signify the size of the burgers appreciated by the Hungry Jacks Burger Lovers club. In a TV ad released in December 2007 an office worker ordering a whopper gets knowing looks from strangers and colleagues, with an associated hand signal. He’s in the burger lovers club. “When you order a Whopper at Hungry Jacks, you don’t just get a burger…”

The Burger Lovers Club campaign was developed at MJW Hakuhodo (MJW Advertising), Melbourne, by creative director Mark Farrelly, art directors Sam Wark and Josh Fartch, and agency producer Jessica Norton.
