Heinz continues to air ‘Quick’, a cheeky TV advert featuring a woman who’s managed to heat her soup in the microwave while working her man into a sweat in bed. The tagline: Heinz Microwaveable Soups ready in two minutes. The spot opens with the guy lying in back in satisfaction. The woman jumps out of bed to retrieve her soup from the microwave oven. By the time she looks back to the bedroom, her man is sound asleep.

The Heinz Quick ad was developed at Leo Burnett London by executive creative directors Nick Bell and Mark Tutssel, art director Steve Jones, copywriter Martin Loraine and agency producer Graeme Light.
The Heinz Quick ad won a 2001 Good, the Bad & the Ugly Award for Good TV (Advertising Women of New York), a gold Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival for savoury foods, and a Grandy at the 2002 International ANDY Awards.
Heinz is now calling for entries (from US residents) for a competition to make the next Heinz TV ad for Tomato Ketchup. Top This TV, the web site, has details on the competition, along with entries. The top fifteen ads will be placed on the site.
