GoDaddy Proposes Options For Super Bowl 2007

GoDaddy.com, the domain name registrar and website hosting company, has purchased three time slots during the NFL Super Bowl being held in Miami on February 4, 2007. Go Daddy Girls Candice Michelle and Indycar Danica Patrick will be appearing alongside stars from Discovery Channel American Chopper family Paul Teutul Sr and his sons Paul Jr and Michael. Also appearing will be drag racing star Valerie Thompson and possibly Diggnation‘s Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht, and GeekBrief.TV‘s Cali Lewis.

The multi-million dollar ad is being developed by Go Daddy Productions under strict secrecy. Key scenes were shot last week in Los Angeles.

Last year GoDaddy.com submitted 14 commercials to network censors before gaining approval. Bob Parsons, CEO, says “We have a great range of talent for this year’s commercial and you can count on it being GoDaddy-esque”. The term GoDaddy-esque has come to mean FUN, edgy and a touch inappropriate, according to Parsons. Already the first commercial submitted in 2007 has been rejected because CBS thought Candice Michelle was too steamy. Bob has made a commitment not to show rejected ads to the public until GoDaddy.com have approved ads in hand or have little hope of getting one approved.
