Blockbuster, the video and game rental store, has launched a Christmas advertisement with visual and verbal references to over 30 classic films in 30 seconds.

The Blockbuster Christmas commercial was developed at DDB Canada, Toronto, by creative director Andrew Simon, copywriter Shane Ogilvie, producer Marie-Pierre Toure.
Filming was shot by director Jeff Labbe via Spy Films, Toronto, with director of photography Glen Keenan, executive producers Luc Frappier and Stephanie Hickman, and producer Peter Oad. Editor was Griff Henderson at School.
