Queensland Art Gallery is promoting the Andy Warhol 300 piece retrospective exhibition with a TV advertisement appropriately set in a supermarket.

The spot opens with a banana (a reference to the 1967 Velvet Underground album) – in a shopping trolley. A man and woman meet in the soup aisle, taking in the qualities of the Campbells soup cans – a reference to 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans, 1962. The super: “He saw art in everything”.
