Amnesty International Bullet Death Penalty

Amnesty International fired out a challenge to capital punishment in “Bullet”, a television commercial featuring a prisoner saved from execution by petitions. A soldier fires a bullet at the prisoner, only to see it slowed down by a series of suspended petitions. The bullet drops to the ground in front of the prisoner. The super: “Your petitions are more powerful than you think”.

The Amnesty International Bullet spot (Peine de Mort) was developed at TBWA, Paris, France, by executive creative director Erik Vervroegen, art director/copywriter Nicolas Moreau, account supervisor Guillaume Allilaire.

Filming was shot by Les Blin (David Blin & Sabine Mathé) via Festen Films, Paris, with producer Christian Delhaye. Sound was developed at AOC.

Bullet won a Silver Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival, 2007.
