Toyota Fireworks – Drive Safely This New Years Eve
Toyota placed an eye-catching safety message in Australian newspapers in 2004, reminding readers to drive safely on New Year’s Eve. What appear at first to be fireworks turn out to be cracks on a car’s windscreen. The print ad won the Quinlivan Black Chairman’s Award at the 2005 Caxton Awards.
The Fireworks ad was developed at Saatchi & Saatchi Australia, Sydney, by creative director David Nobay, copywriter Steve May, art directors Eron Broughton and Pete Buckley, and account supervisor Saul Betmead.
