James Cameron’s movie, The Titanic, has been resurrected, by the look of things at YouTube. The preview begins with shots from the original movie, dated back in 1912. It cuts to present day when an underwater exploration team discovers the frozen body of Jack Dawson and brings him back in ice. He’s gradually resuscitated. “Laser cutting complete. Warm liquid good phase begins.”
It’s at this point that life gets interesting. The project is militarized. Jack escapes, Googles Rose and discovers she has died and that the world is no longer the same. Jack’s back, running through the world to the tunes of Celine Dion. Click on the image below to play the video in YouTube (HD)
The final credit in the preview gives us the name of director Derek Johnson. His real name is Bob Blankenheim. Whoever this is, he’s been busy cutting material from Titanic, Romeo+Juliet, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?, The Basketball Diaries, The Beach, Catch Me If You Can, Forever Young, and Hulk. Perhaps The Man in the Iron Mask and The Aviator?
