Philips Ambilight Screen Paints Football Fan Faces For World Cup
Philips has linked up with the FIFA World Football Cup with ‘Fan Faces’, a television advertisement promoting the Ambilight HD flat TV. The TV ad celebrates the technology used to enhance the colour in HD broadcast of the World Cup games onto Ambilight flat screens in media centers and stadiums. A woman appears on a Philips flat television, with ‘Ambilight’ off. As Ambilight is turned on her face is painted with red, white, yellow and green. Colours change to the sounds of a football crowd and thundering drums, providing an interaction with various national flags. The voiceover: “Game On with the Philips Flat TV with Ambilight”. The tagline: “Philips: Sense and Simplicity”.

The Philips Fan Faces campaign was developed at advertising agency DDB Amsterdam by creatives Ricardo Adolfo, Jessica Kersten, Goz Gostelow and Ian Shepherd.
Post production was done at Clear Post, London by producer Pierre Fletcher, 2D artist Simon Huhtala, 3D artists John Harvey, Jayson King, Sandra Guarda and Rikke Poulsen.
