Canon Australia and Leo Burnett, Sydney worked together this year to produce a print campaign promoting the DiG!C technology used n Canon digital compact, SLR and video cameras. Four posters showed colourful live objects emerging from the pixels: a honey bee, a rainbow lorikeet, a flower and a leopard. “At the heart of Canon digital compact, SLR and video cameras lies the purpose-built DiG!C Image processor. It takes the millions of pixels that make up digital images and transforms them, creating stunning detail and brilliant colour in the blink of an eye. The campaign was developed at Leo Burnett Sydney by executive creative director Mark Collis, creative group head/ art director Michael Spirkovski and copywriter Grant McAloon.
