Breast cancer survivors this month launched a calendar dedicated to raising funds for the Breast Care Unit at the Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry, Northern Ireland and the Marie Keating Foundation in the Irish Republic. Inspired by the Calendar Girls of Rylstone and District Women’s Institute, Londonderry resident Sandra Biddle gathered together ten other women between 42 and 68 to appear in a calendar titled “Women of Hope”. Below is the December photograph, featuring all eleven participants in the “Women of Hope” calendar.
