Amoisonic, a manufacturer of consumer electronics based in Shenzhen, China, has promoted its A9 mobile phones in ‘Reincarnation’, an effects-laden television commercial developed by Australian post production houses Mesh22 and The Lab, Sydney. Flirting Picture, Shanghai and Luscious International, Sydney, worked with Mesh22 and The Lab, Sydney, to produce a combination of Gladiator, Cleopatra and Minority Report genres. The 60 second, 30 second and 15 second spots portray a man and woman interacting through time, demonstrating the attributes of the masculine and feminine-style telephones.
The ads have been aired across Europe and South East Asia.
The Amoisonic Reincarnation campaign was developed at Dentsu, Shanghai by creative directors James Peng and Kuo Feng.
Filming was shot by director Richard Gibson via Luscious International, with director of photography David Gribble, executive producer Andrew Morris and Flirting Picture executive producer David Koh. Editor was Philip Horn.
Post production was done at Mesh22 and The Lab by Linda Lum, line producer Tina Braham, VFX supervisor Steve Leacey, creative director Richard Swan, design director James Schofield, VFX artists Drew Downes, Ben O’Brien, Matthew Unwin and Matt Edwards, 3D animators Chris Spry, Richard Geluk, Grant Laker, colourist Ben Eagleton, matte painters Thomas Kayser and Rowan Cassidy.
